I found that using hot glue to connect the pieces was the most successful way to glue the pieces together. Since the front of the stryogami was heavier than the back of it I made a small stand to support it. Making the stand was a successful step because it kept the styrogami from falling back because of the weight. I also mixed paints together to make some leaf colors that had fallen from the "tree". I found that using the plastic plate gave the best results when making the base, back, and top for the styrogami. When making the "leaves" one thing I found helpful was using a small tip paint brush to help make the small leaf shapes. An obstacle I faced when making this was trying to outline the shape of a tree. I found this difficult because if you pushed too hard with your pencil it punctured the cup and you would just have to roll with it. Since the cup is curved as well it made outlining the tree a little harder too. But even though outlining the tree shape was hard another obstacle I tackled was trying to cut it out because if your tried cutting the tree out too fast with the x-acto knife it wouldn't give you a clean line. Other than outlining and cutting the tree out there were no other difficulties in making the styrogami.
