What did you learn about clay?
. I had some previous knowledge of clay because of sculpture class last year but I did learn a few new things. I learned how to carve drawing out of c lay and how to make sure the sides are smooth and even. I also had never made a clay "hat" before so it took a couple of trial and errors. I had to measure the space between squidwards head and the top of the slab. I did this so i would know how tall to make his hat

acrylic paint
This project was the one I learned most from since I didn't have previous knowledge of acrylic paint or painting in general. One thing I learned the hard way was that acrylic drys very fast so I had to paint and blend colors quickly. I did this by premixing the colors so that I had everything ready. Then I added a bit of water to my brush to help blend the colors together. I also learned how to mix colors and the difference of cool and warm colors.

tape art
I learned a lot about tape art surprisingly, I learned how to make tape leaves out of tape. I used multiple pieces of tape and connected them together and I used an X-acto knife to help cut all the leaves out. Trying to spell things out with tape was harder than expected. Especially trying to make the S' .Overall I learned that tape art is way harder than it seems and you need to be patient while going through the process. I also did not expect to have to use math for this, but it was very vital in trying to make everything even.
